There is Emergency info below by county and city to keep you safe and in the know!

City & County Emergency Info & Why:

(Please know that many cities have not solicited or encouraged visitors for this purpose due to the impact on infrastructure and available resources.)

Things to consider now:

  • Carry Cash! If the internet is over-taxed the credit card machines will not work.
  • Fill up with gas, carry water & food.
  • Cell phone backup plan: have a backup plan in case cell phones don’t work, due to high demand. Know how you will receive alerts if the cellular system is interrupted.
  • This is Tornado Season! Know where you could seek shelter. Avoid vehicles and lightweight structures such as mobile homes.

Emergency communication: Use 911 for emergencies only. If calling 911 does not work, try texting 911. Be specific with the information provided such as your location and emergency need. Great Emergency Resources: www.ready.gov

Stay informed with a radio: Emergency messages will be sent via local FM broadcast stations. Keep a radio tuned to your car radio stations that are listed below.

If you can: Acquire a NOAA Weather Alert Radio or download a weather app and set it for your location.
